Statutory Right of Cancellation

Right of revocation

You have the right to revoke this contract within fourteen days without stating reasons.
The revocation period shall amount to fourteen days from the date on which you or a third party nominated by you, which is not the carrier, have/has taken possession of the last goods.
In order to exercise your right of revocation, you must inform us, Urbach Optik AG, Neugutstrasse 52, CH-8600 Dübendorf, Switzerland, tel.: 800 957 097, e-mail: [email protected] about your decision to revoke this contract by means of an unambiguous declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post, a fax or an e-mail). You may use the enclosed sample revocation form for this; however, this is not obligatory.
For the observation of the deadline, it shall be sufficient to send the communication about exercising the right of revocation before the expiry of the revocation period.

Consequences of the revocation

If you revoke this contract, we must return all the payments that we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs arising from your selection of a different method of delivery to the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), immediately and, at the latest, within fourteen days of the date on which we received the communication about your revocation of this contract. For this repayment, we shall use the same method of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless something else has been expressly agreed with you; in no event shall you be charged fees on account of this repayment. We may refuse the repayment until we have received the goods back or until you have provided evidence that you have sent the goods back, whichever is earlier.

You must send the goods back or hand them over to us immediately and, in any event, within fourteen days of the date on which you inform us of the revocation of this contract, at the latest. The deadline shall be deemed to be met if you send the goods before the expiry of the fourteen day period. You shall bear the direct costs of the return of the goods. You must only pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value can be ascribed to a handling of the goods other than that necessary to ascertain their nature, properties and functioning.

Voluntary right of return when purchasing discountlens Items

Voluntary right of return up to 30 days after receipt of the goods

In respect of all discountlens items purchased, in addition to your statutory rights, we voluntarily grant you a 30-day returns period from receipt of the goods. You may use this right of return to withdraw from the contract, even after the expiry of the 14-day cancellation period (see the information relating to cancellation above), by sending the goods back to us at the following address within 30 days of their receipt (the period commences on the day after the goods are received). The timely dispatch of the goods is sufficient to comply with the returns period. However, the exercise of the voluntary right of return is conditional upon the goods being complete, in their original intact and undamaged condition and returned in their original packaging.

In the event that the voluntary right of return is exercised, the refund is made to the bank account used by you for making the payment. If payment is on account or by advance transfer, the reverse transfer shall be made to the account from which the transfer was made. If you paid by PayPal/credit card, the refund is made to the associated PayPal/credit card account.

Your statutory right of cancellation (see clause B.4) is not affected by compliance with our rules concerning the supplemental (voluntary) right of return granted by contract and remains in existence independently of the contractually granted right. Until the deadline for the statutory right of cancellation expires, the statutory provisions set out there apply exclusively. Nor does the contractually granted (voluntary) right of return limit your statutory guarantees, which you retain without restriction.
